Parcelona is a Mac app that drafts listings for things you want to sell and posts them to eBay and Facebook. Most of what you do in it stays on your Mac. This page says what reaches our server, and who else handles it.

Your account

You sign in with Google. We keep your name, email address and profile picture link, the sign-in tokens Google gives us, and your sessions, including the IP address and browser or app that started each one. We use these to sign you in and to count your listings.

We keep one record per listing you post: an id the app makes up and when it was posted. That is how the free plan counts listings. We do not keep the listing itself.

Drafting a listing

When you draft a listing, the app sends what you told it about the item (its name, condition and notes, your instructions and pricing choice) and up to four of its photos to our server. The server passes them to Anthropic's Claude, which writes the listing and may search the web for prices. Our server does not save the photos or the draft. Anthropic handles them under its commercial terms and privacy policy.

Photos from your phone

If you use your phone's camera, each photo is encrypted on the phone with a key only your Mac has. Our server passes the encrypted photo straight to your Mac and keeps nothing.

eBay

You connect eBay on eBay's own site. Our server turns eBay's grant into an encrypted token that only your Mac keeps, in its Keychain. Listings go to eBay from your Mac through eBay's API. We do not store your eBay account or listings.

Facebook

Facebook sign-in and posting happen entirely on your Mac, in a Chrome window Parcelona opens. Your Facebook password, cookies and posts never reach our server.

On your Mac

Your listings, photos, settings and archive are saved on your Mac (in your listings folder and in ~/Library/Application Support/Parcelona). Tokens are in your Keychain. The app watches your Downloads folder for photos you AirDrop while you are adding photos.

Who else is involved

We do not sell your information, show ads, or use analytics or tracking on the site or in the app.

Deleting your account

In Parcelona, open Settings › General and choose Delete account. That removes your account, sessions, Google tokens and listing count from our server right away. Or email hello@parcelona.app and we will do it for you. To remove what is on your Mac, delete the app and the folders above.

Changes and questions

If this page changes, the date at the top changes too, and we will say so in the app for anything that matters. Questions go to hello@parcelona.app.
